- Keith Jauncey Review added: 2018.08.16★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Went on Saturday 11th July with my sister as the Lamb was recommended by other family members. Our initial response was rather poor as the tables were undressed and the cutlery was presented in a paper tissue, the tables were sticky with (antiback cleaner) that had not been properly cleaned off, dusty curtains and a fire grate that was overflowing with ash.
The food however was absolutely top draw, we had minted lamb that could not be faulted and worthy of five stars although served by casually dressed staff, even the manager was in trainers and shorts.
A 24 hour makeover, tablecloths and a change of policy could turn this place into a "Must Go To" eatery.
